Film & Media Apprentice. Working with our award-winning female-led team produce factual programmes for major broadcast networks, sharing stories from all corners of the world. We also work with brands and agencies to create story-led digital content that engage with their audiences and beyond. The Wildhorse team combine passion and professionalism with originality and narrative excellence. Wildhorse support and champion WOMEN IN FILM & TV.

 Film & Media Apprentice

An ambitious self starting person, who is serious about a career in the film & TV industry. A forward thinking, intelligent, practical and considerate person. The role will be varied as the successful applicant will become part of a small team producing TV shows, shorts & feature films. The role will include the mundane as well as assisting on shoots and transcribing rushes. The applicant will learn and assist in each department, from pre-production, filming with the crew and post production all the way through to delivery to the commissioner, agency or distribution company. It would be preferable if the candidate has made their own films and has an understanding of the software; Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Medicomposer as well as Microsoft office. It would be a plus if the applicant can drive – but not mandatory.  A 14 month contract;  four days a week with Wildhorse Films and a day a week at Petroc College. This apprenticeship is equivalent to A levels. The applicant will be paid minimum wage for the 4 working days. Based in Exeter, Devon. With the potential to film all over the UK.
